Pirates, Country Music and Public Safety Softball Fundraiser on Tap This Weekend

will have free Stablemate pony painting inside (quantities are limited, one pony figure per child!) as well as a petting farm and pony rides outside

• The inaugural St. Clair Shores Country Music Festival comes to Veterans Memorial Friday and Saturday with a variety of bands, costume contest, hog calling and barbecue.
• Whistle Stop Hobby & Toy hosts a Breyer Play Day from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday with free Stablemate pony painting inside as well as a petting farm and pony rides outside.
• The Nautical Mile Yacht Club and the Nautical Mile Merchants Association will host a Pirate Island Fest from 3 - 7 p.m. Satruday at Island Harbor Marina and Harbor 9 Marina on the Nautical Mile. Keith McCurdy will perform between 1 - 5 p.m., the Detroit Pirates will be in attendance and there will be kids games including fishing.
• The St. Clair Shores Police Department will take on the St. Clair Shores Fire Department at 7 p.m. Saturday for the Guns 'n' Hoses softball game at Kyte Monroe
