The Party is on the Waterfront This Weekend
Brownie's and Beach Grill are planning big bashes this weekend.
Ahhhh, it's the Independence Day holiday and long, luxurious vacations are planned at cottages and lakefront cabins throughout the state.
However not everyone is heading north, so for those party-peeps looking for fireworks they can create on the dance floor, Patch has scoped out two parties so sizzling you'll need to bring a fire extinguisher ... or an ice pack.
Brownie's on the Lake has only been open a short time, but they are truly solidifying themselves as a pacesetter in perpetuating a true waterfront party place.

Not only are their views of Lake St. Clair amazing, their staff are party ambassadors personified.

This Sunday, Brownie's on the Lake is going all-American and is throwing a Party in the USA, hosted by Skip D and DJ Mike Scroggs (and I don't think they mean it in a teen pop-star sort of way. Oh no.)
There'll be live entertainment from Jennifer and Royce on the tiki bar, give aways including packages from Champion Tan and drink specials including $3 Washington apples, $5 Long Islands and rum runners.
Have you had one of their rum runners? Do try, that's all I will say.Not to be outdone, neighboring and reigning party patriarch, the has their annual IndepenDANCE bash set for Sunday as well.
Pulling out all the stops, the Beach Grill has local party impresarios Craig Jelinek and Jody Haddad at the helm of this explosive bash.
Thousands have attended in the past, and are predicted to heat up the indoor and outdoor dance spaces along with food the drink stations.
It's a stellar lineup of music maestros, including DJ Godfather, DJ Maz, DJ Pruv, and John Larson, causing sparks in the atmosphere.

Both events kick off around 9pm and are exclusively 21 and older.
