The St. Clair Shores Memorial Day Parade Committee recently recognized the top entries in 61st Memorial Day Parade.

The St. Clair Shores Memorial Day Parade Committee recently awarded trophies to the the top entries in the event this year.

The winners include:

  • Mayor's Choice - Lions Club 
  • Chairman's Choice - Shorewood Kiwanis with Grand Marshall Randy Pullin
  • Float Best Overall Entry - Detroit Shriners featuring the Highland Pipe Band
  • Best Band - De LaSalle Collegiate High School Marching Pilots 
  • Best Color Guard - Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War 
  • Best Patriotic Float - Vietnam Veterans of America Detroit Chap. 9 
  • Best Overall Float - Richmond Good Ole Days Queen Float 
  • Best Special Entry - Michigan Wheelmen 
  • 2nd Place Best Special Entry - American Polish Century Club
