Service to country is honored annually in St. Clair Shores at Memorial Day events in the city.

The VFW Bruce Post #1146 hosts a morning memorial ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park, which is followed by the annual parade which includes veterans from all branches of the military, community groups and teams along with many others.
