Patch Plays: Paddleboarding on Lake St. Clair
Summer is here and St. Clair Shores is coming to life with a number of outdoor activities in parks, neighborhoods and the Lake St. Clair coastline. To celebrate our love recreation, Patch is trying some of these sports.
One of the benefits of living in St. Clair Shores is the wide variety activities for outdoor enthusiasts. From extreme to low impact sports, there is a sport for every season and skill level. Patch Plays is a new feature that will celebrate and highlight these acitivities. This week, we try stand up paddleboarding. Brian Lefeve, owner of Great Lakes Surf Shop, brought the sport to St Clair Shores and Lake St. Clair. He is offering lessons and rentals of the boards from his shop at Nine Mile and Mack.
