What's Your Favorite Halloween Candy? Vote Here!
We want to know if local taste buds hold up to national preferences. Vote on your favorite Halloween candy below.
Hershey’s? Reese’s? Almond Joy? Skittles? Milk Duds? Twizzlers? In a country where candy is estimated to be a $23 billion industry, it is no easy task to pick one favorite treat. But you know you have one. The U.S. Census Bureau reports that in 2010, the average American consumed 24.7 pounds of candy. But what candy was it? Judging by annual sales, Americans prefer M&Ms ($673.2 million), with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups ($516.5 million) and Hershey’s chocolate bars ($475.0 million) not far behind. That's what the national statistics report. This Halloween, what does your sweet tooth say?
