State Reps. From Macomb Get Educated on Early Childhood Resources

Several Macomb County State Representatives recently met with Great Start Macomb to learn more about the countless resources available for the 50,000 children under the age of 5 living in Macomb County.

Detroit Lion Visits South Lake

NFL safety Louis Delmas of the Detroit Lions spoke to South Lake High School students about "Cavalier Character" on Tuesday.

But without his helmet and uniform, the outgoing Delmas used his words as he spoke from the heart Tuesday to nearly 700 South Lake High School students, faculty and administrators about the importance of character in their daily lives. "It is most important you treat (parents and teachers) with utmost respect," Delmas told the students. "You need to take responsibility for your actions. You guys are at an improtant point in your life right now. Every action that you do (now) determines your life after high school. It is important you make the right choices." Throughout his nearly 15-minute speech and interaction with the students, the …
