This update from Lansing comes to Patch from state Sen. Steven Bieda: Health Insurance for Kids Two programs exist in Michigan to provide health care to children who do not have insurance. Both of these options are designed to help children living in low-income households and are offered at little or no cost. A family of four with an income as high as $44,000 may be eligible. The two programs, Healthy Kids and MI Child, both include dental coverage and have no co-pays.
