According to a National Weather Service forecast, there is a 50 percent chance of scattered showers during the day with a high of 65-degrees and the evening will remain mostly cloud dipping to 56-degrees. 2. Interstate 94 will close at 10 p.m. Friday and reopen at 5 a.m. Monday at the I-696 interchange, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation. Beer, beads and boats will be joined by skydivers at the annual festivities this year.
The annual Jobbie Nooner boat party on Gull Island in Lake St. Clair will have an added attraction this year with Red Bull skydivers performing Friday. The event, which started years ago and now attracts thousands of boats, is known —or infamous—for a Mardi Gras-style party with beads, alcohol and flashing of skin by attendees as they tie up their boats off the island.
