Welcome to the first installment of a weekly column known simply as "Patch's Pick of the Week," or as I like to call it, "The Must See Sporting Event in the Community." Each week I have the pleasure of poring over weekly schedules for each local sports team, analyzing the matchups, breaking down the players, coaches and teams, then, with the help of my crew of assistants and experts (OK, there is no actual crew, just my three dogs, but that's not important) I'll select what I believe to be the most compelling, most dynamic and most worthwhile sporting event of the week.
