Whiz Kids: South Lake Students Create Ford Commerical
Students compete for prize money.
Whiz kids names: Josiah Baker, Tim Carroll, Nick Nieto, Jimmy Hodden, Ally Rahds, Bonnie Holmes, Terrence Crawford and Alex Hicks. Whiz kids grade levels: High school and middle school students. Whiz kid’s accomplishment: The students from South Lake worked with Roy O'Brien Ford to create the commercial, "Ford Focus, In Snyc With Your Life," and are competing to win between $1,000 to $10,000 based on voting. The 10 schools that earns the most votes win, according to Ford Focus on Schools Facebook page. Anyone 13 years old and older can vote daily through July 15 for their favorite commercial. Voters can also watch all of the commercials.
