Weekend Construction Road Projects Around Macomb County and the State

More orange barrels will clutter our major thoroughfares this weekend and into next week. Here's a look at the sections you may want to avoid. I-696 There will be a right-lane closure on westbound I-696 and a closure of the westbound I-696 exit to Mound Road from 6 a.m. Saturday until 4 p.m. Sunday. There will also be multiple lane closures with a 15-minute total closure on westbound I-696 from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Sunday. I-94 Eastbound and westbound I-94 will have single and double lane closures between Shook Road and M-59 from 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday for maintenance work.
