Tickets to Tuesday's event are $30.
The Boat Works will host a special Short’s beer tasting on Tuesday at 7 p.m., according to the Official Shorts Brewing Company Facebook page. Tickets cost $30. Rhythm Society Orchestra and the Satin Dolls bring big-band sound to Wednesday concert series.
The swinging sounds of the Rhythm Society Orchestra and the Satin Dolls filled the air Wednesday evening at Veterans Memorial Park in the third installment of the city's Concert in the Park series. Tunes from the 1930s, 40s, and 50s brought smiles to faces and even, despite the sweltering temperatures, inspired many in the crowd to get up and dance to the big-band sound.
