Visions For Vacancy: What Should Take the Place of Blockbuster
The Blockbuster store on Harper closed this weekend. What would you like to see take its place?
This weekend the last Blockbuster store in St. Clair Shores closed. The store was one of nearly 500 nationwide which were closed in recent months by Blockbuster's parent company Dish Network. The closure leaves a store vacancy in the shopping center located between Harper and Little Mack. At a recent council meeting, Mayor Kip Walby stated that the city is in discussions with a possible tenant for the property. The name of the potential tenant was not released.
