Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders can get into a number of local attractions for free this weekend.
Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders will get an added bonus to their Labor Day weekend with the chance to visit local museums for free. The national bank sponsors the Museums on Us program, which allows cardholders nationwide to visit more than 150 museums for free on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 1 and 2. In metro Detroit, that includes the Henry Ford Museum, the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, the Detroit Children’s Museum, the Detroit Historical Museum, the Detroit Science Center, the Flint Institute of Arts and the Motown Museum. Crews are using the warm weather to renovate a former Bank of America building on Harper for a new Credit Union One branch.
The recent warm temperatures have allowed crews renovating a former Bank of America building on Harper to work in short sleeves. Michigan cardholders will be able to visit the Detroit Historical Museum, The Henry Ford and other local historic attractions for free Oct. 1-2.
If you're a Bank of America cardholder, clear your schedule this weekend: The national bank is hosting a program aimed to remove the burden of ticket prices from those wishing to visit local museums. Museums On Us takes place Oct. 1-2. During the weekend, Bank of America cardholders nationwide will have the chance to visit more than 150 museums for free. In metro Detroit, that includes Dearborn's own Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. Other options are the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, the Detroit Children’s Museum, the Detroit Historical Museum, the Detroit Science Center, the Flint Institute of Arts and the Motown Museum.
