Other then mail every one not sure what more they could of done. They were on the news all week, allRead More things to do, Wjbk had it on all Saturday morning. Jay Hytower (?) was there live. I would think they spent their advertising budget, for a first yr. event. Why do people need a special invite? Oh by the way, Labor Day is always the FIRST Monday in Sept. sounds like it will be on Labor Day week end.

This was an Urban facsimile Of an old type Fair. The unofficial Michigan State Fair, now, (shape size, smells, basic ingredients of) is the IONIA Fair, it is huge, and in the farm belt of Mich. out 94.

And I thought the headline read "...$30 for food PANTIES"....LOL. Kidding. Good to see bigRead More business so open to charity. Well done Meijer. Target is also to be commended for their charity work in helping schools. Now I know someone will come along and mention all the tax write offs, etc., yeah, I get it...I know both sides to the coin. But this is a good faith effort and well timed...so thank you.

Just an FYI, but the fish locations and display spots were selected by each individual sponsor. I'veRead More really loved seeing everyone around town checking them out!

I attempted to see #1 on the map and couldn't find it. I was told by employees of another businessRead More that they thought it was INSIDE the sponsor's building. Disappointing, and I didn't take the time to go in. I hope that's just a temporary decision. Free the fish! (hee hee)

When it's safe to do so, I get out of my car and remove those cheap and illegal advertising signsRead More that people stick in the ground where the freeway ramps meet the road. Those signs are a blight.
