The St. Clair Shores Public Library is a hub of activity for residents of all ages. More than 130,000 books and 30,000 videos, magazines and other items provide a number of resources for residents to review utilize. The library's collection is further expanded through membership in the Suburban Library Cooperative, which allows card holders to select items from other libraries in Macomb County, Harper Woods and Troy. A number of programs and events are also planned throughout the year. During the summer, the library closes on Saturday.
