This place is EXTREMELY overpriced. Also, what they give you for consignment items is worst than garage sale prices. Take my advice and don't waste your time. I took a large bin full of like-new maternity clothes all from Motherhood maternity. There were several pairs of jeans with the tags still on and around 10 career outfits, including suits. (over 50 items in total) The owner offered me $45. Ridiculous! And she was so rude when I didn't take her offer. Completely unprofessional! She told me on the phone before I wasted my time and hauled my box up there how well she paid for maternity clothes. What a joke! Also, I glanced at some of the children's items when I was in there, for example rubber boots for my son. She had them priced for $8, when I can buy the exact same pair NEW at Wal-Mart for $5. Don't go here unless you want to be ripped off and treated badly. So much for customer service.

St. Clair Shores resident Milissa Tischbein opened Secret Treasures Upscale Resale two years ago. Located on Harper Avenue, the store's bright-green and polka-dotted sign is hard to miss. The funky vibe continues inside where music plays overhead and different displays highlight a wide variety of items, such as shoes and purses. Racks full of children's, teen's and women's clothes are set up throughout the store. The shop accepts updated and vintage clothes, just call to schedule a buying appointment.

This is a really fun store to explore. The set up of the store and the decor are so well done. Their prices are very reasonable and their merchandise is top-quality. I love the combination of antiques with the newer trendy items. The staff is very friendly. A must visit for moms who love a bargain!
They are always warm and welcoming whenever I stop in. I have even called ahead to see if they have certain items in the store and they took the time to look for them. If your children are tame they don't have a problem with them wandering or shopping with you. Thumbs up!
This store is AMAZING! Not only do I shop here, I also sell my clothes too. The owner is so nice and really takes the time to talk about what she is offering you for the items that she took. I always feel so welcomed not only by her, but also the other employees. This store is a GREAT place to find all the bargains not only on clothes, but also on household items!
