Walk into Camp Bow Wow and you'll feel as if you're taking your dog to a real camp. The interior looks like a log cabin and there are wooden signs with names like "camp counselor" and "camp ranger." The overnight accommodations are called "cabins" and they are furnished with comfy cots.
Services include all-day play, boarding, grooming and training. Camp Bow Wow also offers in-home care. An assortment of products are available for sale, too. First-time campers need to call in advance to make an appointment.

We have used the boarding and day care facilities several times with our dog. She is a rescue dog, and can be skittish about cages and being left alone. When we take her to Camp Bow Wow, she's so excited, she DRAGS us through the front door. That tells me she's obviously treated well while she's there. We've also used the Troy facility when the SCS facility has been full. We had a good experience there as well.
