Senior Expo at Assumption, Fundraisers and Philanthropic Events Coming Up This Weekend

Here are some events to add to your weekend calendar:

• Assumption Cultural Center will hold the annual Senior Expo Thursday, which includes informative exhibits, educational seminars, valuable resources, luncheon and entertainment.
• The St. Clair Shores Library will host a free showing of "The Big Sleep" 1:30 p.m. Friday in the William Gilstorf Meeting Room.
• Wigs 4 Kids will hold a Halloween-themed Boo Water Bashfundraiser Friday.
• St. Joan of Arc will hold their annual Haitian Harvest dinner. Attendees will have a Haitian style meal, and celebrate the parish's relationship their sister parish in Haiti. Tickets are still available at the parish center office.
• The Waterfront Environmental Committee will hold their final freeway ramp cleanup of the year at 10 a.m. Saturday. The effort will include removing trash from the entrance and exit ramps to and from the I-94 expressway at 9, 10 and 11 Mile Roads.
