City Offices Closed, Plays and Morley Candy Presentation Planned this Week

Local plays, a craft and home party expo and Veterans Day closures are among the events planned for this week.

Here are some events to add to your calendar:

  • St. Clair Shores city offices and the 40th District Court will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day.
  • The VFW Bruce Post Woman's Auxiliary will hold a Home Parties & Crafts event from 6 -9  p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the VFW Bruce Post. Admission is $1, and it is open to the public. All proceeds go to benefit the Veterans Projects. There will be over 40 vendors such as Mary Kay Cosmetics, Avon, Tupperware, 31 Gifts, Pampered Chef, Chair Massages, Live Christmas Wreaths, Knitted Items, Pet Products, Jewelry, Candles and Magnets 2 U.
  • The South Lake High School Drama Club will present the fall play “30 Reasons To Not Be in a Play” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the South Lake High School Auditorium. Prices are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for students and children.  
  • St. Clair Shores Players present the comedy "Office Hours" starting Friday.
