Memorial Day Parade Request, K-Cup Swap and More This Week

A request to hold the Memorial Day Parade, a K-Cup swap and a Martin Luther King Day event are coming up this week.

Here are some events to look forward to this week:

  • The St. Clair Shores Youth Council will hold a Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration at 4 p.m. Monday at Lake Shore High School.
  • St. Clair Shores City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in City Hall. Among the items on the agenda include a request to the hold the Memorial Day Parade on Harper, and a request to rezone property from residential to parking at 20712 Elizabeth.
  • The St. Clair Shores Senior Activities Center will hold a K-Cup swap and bake sale at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Interested in trying a different Keurig K-Cup flavor? Sign up for the K-Cup swap by dropping off a list K-Cups that you would like swap to the Senior Center or email Sue at fickaus@scsmi.net.
  • The St. Clair Shores Library will host a Lego "Block Party" from 10 a.m. - noon Saturday.
  • St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church will host Awaken Ministry at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26 for a night of "praise, worship, dynamic speaking eucharistic adoration."
