Friends Book Sale, Cops for Kids Dinner Among Events This Week

Add to your library, help a local charity and visit a new school building this week.

Here are some events to add to your calendar this week:

  • The Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale features quality used books that are replenished each day from our well-stocked storeroom. The book sale runs Wednesday - Saturday. 
  • Cops for Kids will hold a fundraiser spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 5 - 9 p.m. Thursday at Lakeland Manor. Tickets are $9 each.
  • Lakeview Public Schools will hold an open house Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Wheat Educational Campus on Harper, south of 11 Mile.
