  • High school gridiron heroes return to practice Monday morning.
  • Whistle Stop Hobby Shop's annual Lego building contest begins Monday. Young builders can submit their creations through Saturday.
  • The annual Handicapped Fishing Derby will be held Wednesday at Island Harbor Marina. Boaters wishing to volunteer to take special needs children and adults for a day of fishing can call (586) 771-4840.
  • The final Music on the Lake concert at Veterans Memorial Park features the Joey Vee Band at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
  • The four-day Greekfest opens Thursday at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.
