This Week in St. Clair Shores: Aug. 20

Here are the highlights of the many events scheduled in St. Clair Shores this week:

1. St. Clair Shores will meet at 7 p.m. tonight in . According to the agenda, council will consider:

• An amendment to the peddlers and solicitation ordinance
• Approve bids for cardio exercise equipment that are part of the Health Wellness Program. The equipment will be paid for with an Assistance
  to Firefighter grant
• Request to purchase water meters and radio transmitters that will be installed in residential homes as part of the Water Meter Replacement
  Program

2. Soccer players who played in the should be warmed up and ready to participate in the Roy O'Brien Ford and St. Clair Shores Select Soccer Club's at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Civic Center South soccer fields.

3. will perform at 6:15 p.m., and Amy Gore & Her Valentines will perform from 7:15 - 8:30 p.m. for the at Veterans Memorial Park.
