St. Clair Shores First State Fireworks Extravaganza Rescheduled for Wednesday

Inclement weather Friday led to the cancellation of the fireworks show in St. Clair Shores. The show has been rescheduled for Wednesday.

Inclement weather led to the cancellation of the First State Fireworks Extravaganza in St. Clair Shores, and organizers have rescheduled the event for Wednesday.

Acting City Manager Mike Smith said the park and the fireworks barge were "too wet," which led to the cancellation of the show.

The fireworks show, vendors and activities planned for Friday have been rescheduled for Wednesday. Smith said the entry wristbands, and parking passes, will be honored Wednesday.

The regularly scheduled concert in the park by Rock Bottom will still be held. Concertgoers will need to purchase an entry band to attend.
