St. Clair Shores Pool

Residents only

Hours: Noon - 8 p.m.

Facilities: Olympic sized pool, waterslide, picnic facilities and playground.

St. Clair Shores Splash Pad and Veterans Memorial Park Beach

Hours: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Facilities: Zero entry splash zone, waterfront beach and picnic facilities.

Entry cost: Free, residents only.

Lake St. Clair Metropark (formerly Metro Beach)

Harrison Township, MI 48045

Hours: Park hours 6 a.m.-10 p.m. on weekdays, 6 a.m.-11 p.m. on weekends; Beach opens at 8 a.m.; pool opens at 11 a.m.

Facilities: 1,000 foot beach, Olympic-sized swimming pool with water slides, squirt zone

Entry Cost: $5 daily parking pass, $25 annual parking pass, $3 pool usage fee

Special Events: Fireworks on Monday, July 2, at 10 p.m. There is a $5 daily vehicle permit before 5 p.m.; $10 special event daily vehicle permit required after 5 p.m.; free admission with annual permit.

Shelby Township, MI 48316

Hours: 6 a.m.-10 p.m.; beaches open at 8 a.m.

Facilities: Two beaches, Baypoint and Eastwood;

Entry Cost: $5 daily parking fee, $25 for an annual pass

Walter and Mary Burke Park (Downtown Waterfront Park)

Hours: 8 a.m.- dusk

Facilities: Beach, fishing is allowed in designated areas.

Entry Cost: Parking is free, as well as any facilities

Special Events: All summer there will be various yoga, zumba, and workout classes available.

Hours: 6 a.m.-9 p.m.; times vary for individual facilities

Facilities: Water slide, lap pool, lazy river, log roll, hot tub, children's spraygroud

Entry Cost: All-day passes can be purchased for $5 by residents and $10 by non-residents. Children under 3 are free. The all-day pass buys access to all areas of the rec center and can be used for multiple same-day visits.
