St. Clair Shores Resident to Call Winter Classic Hockey Game
St. Clair Shores resident Ken Kal will be calling the Winter Classic Wednesday from Michigan Stadium.
The voice of the first hockey game of 2014 belongs to St. Clair Shores resident Ken Kal.
The play-by-play voice of the Detroit Red Wings called the Alumni Showdown Tuesday at Comerica Park, and will be in the booth Wednesday at Michigan Stadium for the Winter Classic.
He will be sharing broadcast duties with 97.1 FM (The Ticket) with Paul Woods, his radio partner of 18 years calling Red Wings games.
