South Lake Wins, East Detroit Coach Has Health Scare

The football coach for East Detroit had a seizure with less than a minute to go in the game against South Lake.

South Lake's football improved to 2-0 Friday with a 13-6 win over East Detroit, but just seconds before the end of the game, the opposing team's coach had a health scare according to the South Lake Lancer Twitter feed.

South Lake was up 13-6 with 49 seconds left in the game when the East Detroit coached suffered a seizure, and an ambulance was called to scene, according to the Lancer.

The game resumed after the ambulance left the field, according to the paper's Twitter feed. The condition of the East Detroit coach was not know Friday night.

According to the Lakeview Huskies Facebook feed, the Huskies fell to the Saints 48-8. 

The MHSAA.com website reported that Lake Shore lost to Marysville 34-13. 

Both Lakeview and Lake Shore are now 0-2.
