With the victory, the Cavaliers improved to 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the MAC Bronze.
A triumph over winless New Haven next week would give South Lake the outright league championship.
South Lake has posted five shutouts this year, and the defense has allowed only six points all season. The Cavaliers also won one game by forfeit.
