South Lake's Carmen Kennedy Named to MHSAA Council

Carmen Kennedy, the principal at South Lake High School in St. Clair Shores, will serve another two-year term on the Representative Council of the MHSAA.

South Lake principal Carmen Kennedy will serve another two-year term on the Representative Council of the Michigan High School Athletic Association, according to a release.

Kennedy was reappointed to her post on the legislative body of the MHSAA at a meeting on Nov. 30.

The representative council is a 19-person board. All but five members are elected, and four are appointed by the council to facilitate representation of females and minorities.
