Shores Native to Play in D3 Senior Football Classic
St. Clair Shores native, and De La Salle graduate, Anthony Sabatella, will play before a national audience in the D3 Senior Football Classic.
Alma Scots' linebacker Anthony Sabatella has been one of the top players in MIAA football this season, and tonight he will have the opportunity to showcase his skills on a national stage.
Sabatella, a Shores native and De La Salle graduate, will be a linebacker playing on the North team in the D3 Senior Football Classic in Salem, VA.
Sabatella, a senior from St. Clair Shores who attended De La Salle, lead the MIAA in tackles with 131 and was first in the league with 17.5 tackles for loss, according to Alma College.

He was also ranked 10th in the MIAA with four quarterback sacks.
During the season, Sabatella was twice named MIAA Defensive Player of the Week.
