The 2011 Lakefront Swimming Association Swim Team Finals took place Wednesday evening at Grosse Pointe Woods Lake Front Park in front of a crowd of hundreds there to cheer on their favorite squads.

Teams from St. Clair Shores, Grosse Pointe Woods, Grosse Pointe Park, the City of Grosse Pointe, Grosse Pointe Shores and Grosse Pointe Farms competed at the event, each one hoping to take home the title.

The Grosse Pointe Farms Barracudas were the overall champions for 2011, taking first place.
