Lakeview topped host Lake Shore 16-13 to claim the city football championship, and the championship jug.
According to the Lakeview High School Twitter feed, this is the first time the Huskies have won the St. Clair Shores jug since 2007.
Lakeview defeated South Lake 22-21 in overtime Sept. 27 previously to begin the quest to be champions. The Cavaliers had been the city champions the previous three years.
In other city action, South Lake fell to Warren Woods Tower 48-28 according to the MI Prep Zone Macomb Twitter feed.
