Lakeview Tops Lake Shore in Basketball Benefit Game for Veterans
The Huskies boys varsity basketball team defeated the Shorians Friday night in a city rivalry game which was also a benefit for the The Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund.
The Lakeview Huskies boys varsity basketball team defeated the Lake Shore Shorians 53-41 Friday in rivalry game with a cause.
Lakeview boys varsity coach John Carr, a veteran himself, organized the special day of three boys and three girls games to raise funds for the The Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund.
All funds raised from ticket sales, concessions, t-shirts and donations will be given to the fund.
