Lakeview, South Lake Tennis Teams Prepare for Regionals
High school tennis teams gear up for postseason play.
tennis team, , will compete in the Division 2 regional tournament hosted by Grosse Pointe North on Friday.
The meet will take place at Lake Front Park and Elworthy Park.
Grosse Pointe North, which advanced to the state finals last year, heads the field. Other teams in the tournament are Detroit Denby, Detroit King, Detroit Northwestern, Detroit Pershing, East Detroit, Hazel Park, Sterling Heights and Warren Woods-Tower.

In Division 3, will compete at the regional hosted by Mount Clemens on Thursday. The finished fifth in the MAC Silver Division.
Other teams at the Mount Clemens regional are Center Line, Croswell-Lexington, Marine City, St. Clair, Regina and Yale.

The top two teams in each regional (as well as any other team recording 18 points) will advance to the state championship.
