Lakeview Boys Basketball Wins Pair of Games

boys basketball team improved to 2-1 on the season with victories over Armada and Hazel Park this week.

Robert Shields led Lakeview to a 63-50 victory over Armada on Dec. 14. Shields scored 19 points and added seven steals, Alex Galant had 12 points, and Gary Tilney had 10 points for the Huskies.

Galant posted a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds in Lakeview’s 40-35 triumph over Hazel Park on Dec. 16.

Shields contributed 12 points and seven steals, and Tilney had nine points and 14 rebounds.

Lakeview (2-1 overall) plays host to cross-town rival on Monday at 5:30 p.m., and the Huskies host on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
