Lake Shore Soccer Wins Regional Championship

Lake Shore is heading to their first state soccer semifinals with a victory over Trenton Friday.

Lake Shore defeated Trenton 2-0 Friday to win the school's first regional soccer championship, according to a story on www.miprepzone.com.

Shorians Joey Podsiadly and Nick Smigielski scored the two Lake Shore goals, according to the story. 

The story added that Lake Shore will compete in the state semifinals against the winner of Linden-East Lansing game at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Fenton.
