Lake Shore Champs Reunite, Recall "Storybook" Season
Lake Shore schools celebrated the 20th anniversary of the boys basketball championship.
Twenty years ago the Lake Shore Shorians boys basketball team made history, and Thursday, they reunited at their alma mater to celebrate their state championship and honor school officials, their families and the community.
Over a two-year span, the team amassed a 54-1 record that culminated in a state championship won at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.
In the video, which includes game footage courtesy of Lake Shore and MHSAA, the team recalled the magical season during a 20th anniversary celebration at Lake Shore High School.
