Lake Shore Advances in Soccer Playoffs
Lake Shore defeats Ferndale and Lakeview fell to De La Salle in district soccer action Wednesday.
boys soccer team defeated Ferndale Wednesday 6-2 and will take on Lamphere in the final round of district playoffs, according to the MHSAA.
The teams will play at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lake Shore.
Lakeview also took to the field Wednesday, but fell 2-0 to De La Salle according the MHSAA.

The Lakeview Athletics Twitter feed said the game was played in "horrendous weather conditions" and congratulated the team for a "Great season for the varsity boys soccer team."
