Frozen Flashback Reignites Hockey Rivalry

Face-off for fun and charity. The longtime rivalry between Lakeview and Lake Shore high school hockey teams is back for one night in the Frozen Flashback.

Alumnis of both teams will hit the ice for a good cause. Funds raised will go to the Billy Luckett Trust. Luckett, 18, is a Shores resident who was paralyzed in a 2008 snowmobile accident.

The game will have its share of VIPs, including former Mayor and current Macomb County Treasurer Ted Wahby Sr., who'll drop the first puck. The lineup is filled with all-stars from Lakeview and Lake Shore teams of the 1970s, '80s and '90s.
