St. Clair Shores Business Has Been Helping People Party Since 1982

Party Adventure owner Dan Stevens has been selling disposable party supplies for years.

He recently submitted information about the business through the Small Business Spotlight.

What does your business offer? 

We sell disposable party supplies. From invitations to thank you notes. We offer 26 different solid colors of tableware and over 100 different birthday patterns. We also carry the largest selection of theme party items.

What's your most popular product or service? 

Helium balloons followed by solid color tableware.

What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know?

We have been family owned since 1982.

When was the business founded?

December, 1982

How did your business come to be? 

My oldest brother was the sales manager for a restaurant paper supply company. He would receive all the catalogs showing disposable party supplies. When I was laid off from my job, we decided to put everything we had seen in the catalogs, under one roof.

Why did you choose the area you did?

Our original store was on 8 mile and Harper. I moved to 9 and Greater Mack because I had grown out of the first store.
