Sports Brief: Lake Shore Baseball Holds on to Beat Lakeview

Lake Shore defeated Lakeview Friday 9-8.

The held off a late inning rally Friday to defeat the 9-8.

Lake Shore jumped out to a 3-2 lead in the second inning and was up to 9-5 going into the bottom of the sixth inning. Lakeview scored three runs in the bottom of the to pull within a run.

Neither team scored in the seventh inning, and Lake Shore pulled out the win.

Lake Shore is 7-19 this season, Lakeview is 14-16.
