South Lake Football Players Take Part in National Signing Day
Three South Lake football players signed letters of intent Wednesday to play football at Ferris State University and Iowa Western Community College next year.
Three South Lake High School seniors signed letters of intent to play football at the college level next year.
Travon Desaussure, quarterback, and Deshun Brown, running back, both signed letters of intent to play at Ferris State University. Delshawn Duke, middle linebacker, signed to play at Iowa Western Community College.
"This is a fun day for the kids, and a happy day for their parents knowing where the next chapter of their kids lives will be," said head coach Chanterious Brock. "These kids put together hard work on the field and off the field. Now it is paying off."
