Photo Gallery: Freshmen Get Oriented to High School

Ninth-graders at Lake Shore, Lakeview and South Lake toured their new schools Tuesday and met with administrators and counselors to prepare for the coming year.

It was a day of new beginnings and reuniting with friends Tuesday for ninth-grade students at the three high schools in St. Clair Shores.

Each school offered students a variety of icebreaker activities in addition to school tours, class registration and mentoring activities to make the first day of school less confusing for incoming students. 

The first day of school for all three districts is Tuesday, Sept. 6.
