Lake Shore Students Commemorate 9/11

Students at Lake Shore High School hold ceremony Monday to remember 9/11.

Students at held a moment of silence Monday to commemorate 9/11. After a brief ceremony, students attempted to light Chinese lanterns. 

The sky light is a Chinese lantern that has a small candle that makes it float into the sky. Strong winds Monday prevented the lanterns to be lit.

The event was filmed by Lake Shore video production students and will be played during morning announcements this week.
