Lake Shore teacher presents at Microsoft
business teacher Tasha Candela recently presented at Microsoft Partners in Learning 2011 Innovative Education Forum in Washington. Candela presented her lesson titled "Electronic Portfolios: The Weebly Wonders of the Web" at the conference. The electronic portfolio lesson was created by Candela to prepare her students for job opportunities.

The is moving to the Born Center, 23340 Elmira St. in St. Clair Shores. The child care facility has been in the Shores for the past 25 years and provides care for children ages 2 months to 5 years old. The center will be also be celebrating its 25th Anniversary and Open House 6:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 23. Call 586-285-8580 for more information about the program.
