The St. Clair Shores Fire Department is holding an open house at its Central Fire Station from noon-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, to kick off Fire Prevention Week.
Attend and check out the Smokehouse, meet Sparky the Fire Dog, watch life-saving demonstrations and plenty more. Educational materials and handy tip sheets will be available, too, to help you make your home into a safer place.
The event is sponsored by the SCS Professional Firefighters Union.
