Trash Collection Returns to Normal Schedule This Week

Normal trash, Christmas trees and holiday rubbish collection will return to the normal schedule this week.

After two weeks of delayed collections due to the Christmas and New Year's holidays, St. Clair Shores will resume its regular schedule for trash and recycling pickup this week.

Residents can dispose of their live Christmas trees by leaving them curbside, but should remove all decorations prior to doing so.

According to a statement on the city's Facebook page, it has been difficult for Waste Management to collect both trees and trash at the same time due to the large volume of holiday trash. The city stated Waste Management will return to collect any missed trees.
