St. Clair Shores Resident Featured in Mark Hackel's Speech

St. Clair Shores resident Jordan Obrecht was scheduled to close Mark Hackel's State of the County address. Although he was sick and unable to attend, he still serenaded those in attendance.

A 23-year-old St. Clair Shores resident had a special honor last week during Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel's State of the County Address.

Jordan Obrecht, was born 17 weeks premature with blindness and cerebral palsy, but that has not stopped him from achieving great things including being invited to perform at the address at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts.

While he was not able to attend the speech and perform due to the flu, a video of one of Obrecht's performances was shown and was recognized by Hackel.
